DIY Buckets

If you enjoy arranging flowers, or know someone who does, then DIY buckets are a great way to add affordable florals to your event. Building bouquets can also be the perfect activity at a girls’ night or bridal shower, it’s so fun to play with flowers. I love selling DIY buckets!

What you can expect: A variety of flowers, textural elements and foliage to build arrangements. They will have been harvested and conditioned professionally. I can often accommodate a color palette, and some flower requests (i.e. no sunflowers), but I do not have a large flower field, and flowers will ultimately be grower’s choice. I am not a florist, and I do not have any advice for arranging flowers or how to keep a bouquet looking fresh out of water.

DIY buckets are not for you if you have a very specific vision with specific colors and flowers. They are great for flexible and creative brides/hosts. They can also lower the overall cost of wedding florals by working with a florist for bridal party bouquets and boutonnieres and using DIY buckets for table arrangements. I can recommend a florist to you!

What I will expect from you: A deposit of half of the cost of the buckets a week prior, the balance when the flowers are picked up (cash or venmo). Delivery is generally unavailable for DIY buckets, you will need to pick them up at the farm. We will arrange a timeframe for when flowers are to be picked up, please let me know if you will be late. You can borrow my buckets if you drop them off at the farmstand after your event, if that’s not possible, then please bring your own buckets. I can let you know how many.

Cost: Rather than charging by the bucket, I charge by stem count. Once we figure out your needs, I can provide you a quote based on the flowers and foliage I anticipate using. (It’s close to wholesale cost.) There is a $50 minimum for DIY bucket orders.
